Carmen Junquera moved to Tampa from Cuba in 1960. She purchased the family home not long after arriving in South Tampa. In 1966, she opened up Carmen Junquera Boutique. Carmen had a love for fashion, antiques, and artwork she continued her love of collecting finer items that were in her home.
