Ferne Blake was a long time St Pete resident, since 1976. Being the wife of a military officer, she and her family were able to travel extensively in Europe and the United States. She was also a member of the Broadreachers at Pass-a-Grille Yacht Club and active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
